WES project concluded its activity on the sedimentation issues of Tunisian reservoirs
The EU funded “Water and Environment Support (WES) in the ENI Neighbourhood South Region” project is supporting Tunisia in tackling the problem of sedimentation in its dams since 2020, by preparing and implementing an Activity “Reservoir Sedimentation Hazard and Mitigation Measures towards Sustainability in Tunisia”. WES Project is collaborating with the Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation on the non-revenue water policy
The EU-funded “Water and Environment Support (WES) in the ENI Southern Neighbourhood region" project, is supporting Jordan’s water sector in its on-going efforts to reduce non-revenue water (NRW), and contributing to improved network efficiency, service provision and increased cost recovery, by implementing an activity on the subject since 2022.
